Because of large specific surface area and strong adhesion, colloidal silica can firmly adhere to the surface of coating substrate and filler particles, and with the continuous evaporation of water in colloidal silica, a firm si-o bond can be formed between silica particles. The addition of colloidal silica to waterborne coatings can accelerate the film formation, improve the hardness and reducibility of the coatings, and greatly improve the properties of the coatings, such as water white, weather resistance, washing resistance and stain resistance. We have successfully developed a number of coatings special modified colloidal silica, which can greatly improve the compatibility with various emulsions, coatings, can be widely used in a variety of, real stone paint, emulsion etc.

Especially the TUS products, mixing with emulsion 1:4,  the viscosity value of the products can be kept basically stable for more than 30 days in 65℃ constant temperature accelerated aging experiment, which can meet the application needs of commercial emulsion and paint.

Matters need attention:

1,The recommended amount is 15-25% of the amount of emulsion;If necessary, increase the proportion of TUS products to keep the stability of the paint.

2,This product is not suitable for mixed use with vinegar, acrylic and silicone emulsions

3,It is normal phenomenon if the product appears slight yellow, the film-forming material appears slightly turbid, after adding this kind of product. That is similar with organosilicon .

4,When the selection of auxiliary materials, please try to choose non-ionic products, not cationic products.

5,When the cellulose substance meets this product, it has a rapid thickening reaction and can be normal after stirring.
